President-elect Yoon arrived at the site around 12 noon on the same day and reviewed the situation at the site, including receiving a briefing from the fire department.
Afterwards, President-elect Yoon offered comfort and encouragement to the victims of the wildfire.
Earlier, on the 4th, President-elect Yoon visited the evacuation center of the Uljin National Sports Center and held the hand of the victims and said, “I’ll just hold your hand if I can be of great help. We will urge the process of rebuilding it to proceed quickly.”

On the 14th, President-elect Yoon visited Namdaemun Market as his first public move and met with merchants suffering from the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) and had a meal together.
After visiting the Uljin wildfire site on this day, President-elect Yoon is planning to visit another forest fire-affected area, the East Sea of Gangwon-do, to visit and inspect the site of the housing damage.
