Columbus was much superior and won in week 15 of the United States – MLS 2024 tournament, achieving a triplet victory against NE Revolution at the Lower.com Field stadium. Columbus made its determination clear and crushed its opponent with an overwhelming result, which included a hat trick from Alexandru Matan (13′ 1T, 18′ and 26′ 2T) and a score from Dejuan Jones (4′ 1T). The midfielder’s three goals were from plays. Dejuan Jones’ goal came after a spectacular play during the 4th minute of the first half.
