Dublin: India batted brilliantly in the last and second match of the Twenty20 cricket series once morest Ireland. Batting first, India scored 227 for seven.

Indian skipper Hardik Pandya won the toss and elected to bat first. Deepak Hooda (104 off 57 balls with six sixes and nine fours) and Sanju Samson (77 off 42 balls with four sixes and nine fours) smashed their maiden T20I wickets. Sanju and Ishant Kishan opened the innings. Ishant was caught by wicketkeeper Lorkan Tucker off Mark Adyar. With Hooda and Sanju joining, the Irish bowlers were left reeling. Hooda, who scored a half-century off 27 balls, was the most attacking. Sanju scored a half-century in Twenty20 cricket off 31 balls. Second wicket: Fifty off 35 balls and 100 off 55 balls. India were 189 when Adyar bowled Sanju in the 17th over. Hooda and Sanju also won the highest partnership in India’s Twenty20. Suryakumar Yadav (15 off 5 balls, including a six and a four) was bowled by Josh Little Tucker. Hooda was dismissed in the same over. In the 19th over, Dinesh Karthik (0) and Akshar Patel (0) were bowled by Craig Young. Herschelle Patel (0) was also dismissed in the last over.
